Thanks to user Shaun M a bug has been identified with the FreeNATS POSIX node monitor (version 0.04) with regard to disk space.
When a volume becomes 100 percent full the monitor erroniously reports this as 10 percent.
This has been raised as a bug BID184.
I believe I have now identified and fixed the issue, caused by poor coding as per usual. The new version of the POSIX nodeside script (0.05) should fix this problem as well as adding two new features:
1. Simple evaluation will now show a warning at or above 80% and a fail at or above 90% used (like the Win32 script does)
2. A new test of percentage free is available
The new version will be included in all future releases of FreeNATS and will probably be included in a beta in July.
In the meantime the nodeside script is available from http://www.purplepixie.org/freenats/patch/sw/220609/freenats-posix-node-0.05.tar.gz.
Please let me know if you have any other issues with this update.
Update: Please note you only need to update the freenats-node.php file. The config file has not changed.
