28/07/2008: IMAP Issue Fixed

The IMAP issue has been fixed thanks to Ole Stanstrup (yet again). If you want to add IMAP and are running VM 3.2b or earlier (3.3 and onward will have this fix already done) you need to:

Login to the VM console as root
Do the following three commands:

conary update php:devel

conary update php5=conary.rpath.com@rpl:1/5.2.6-1-1

conary update php5-imap=conary.rpath.com@rpl:1/5.2.6-1-1


Which should update PHP and install the IMAP module. Please note that you might need to update other PHP modules but in testing this has been all fine.

Hopefully in future I'll stop releasing versions that break the VM environment (used by the vast majority of users). Any VM environment users interested in pre-release testing please get in touch as most of my existing (most excellent) small group of pre-release testers have migrated from the VM to source installs.
