3.3.3.1 Creating a Snapshot
If you have write access to the question set you can create a data snapshot from the main results menu.
You will be prompted to select your input criteria and specify a name.
The data and session type filters available in ViQ Free Edition are:
Just Completed Surveys - surveys abandoned or still "in progress" are not included. This is on by default and you would usually want to keep it on.
Include Dummy Data - If checked (by default it is not) this will include dummy data sessions into the snapshot as if they were live (note there is no way to distinguish them as dummy within the snapshot if they are included).
You will now see the "Only include sessions who answered…" selections. For each question with options you will be able to filter the snapshot data to only those sessions where the respondent chose a specific option.
Please note this will automatically exclude anyone who failed choose any answer option whereas "No preference…" will select them all.
The list of questions and the options are used in an AND operation i.e. if you pick more than one question only those sessions answering the selected option to question 1 AND question 2 etc… are included.
Clicking "Create Data View Snapshot" will display some summary results showing you how many sessions met the criteria and have been included.
