3.3.3.3 Exporting a Snapshot

From the main results page you can choose to export a data snapshot using the link provided. You will then be prompted to choose options for the export.

The file format determines the file extension (.xls or .csv) as well as the MIME-type of the document. Other than that it simply uses standard CSV encoding (Choosing Microsoft Excel just lets you "open" the data file straight into Excel).

There are two types (or "arrangements") of data export:

Results Data - In this format you will receive a list of the questions and their associated options with totals displayed. For text input fields you will receive all the inputs. See the documentation linked on the left for more information (see 3.3.3.3.1 for example output).

Full Data - In this format you will receive a full list of all the sessions for this data view and the associated answers they gave for each question. You will have to do the totalling etc... See the documentation linked on the left for more information (see 3.3.3.3.1 for example output).
